Inspo: Serratia marcescens is considered an opportunistic pathogen, it can cause a range of infections in humans, particularly in immunocompromised individuals or those with underlying health conditions. Infections caused by S. marcescens may include urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, wound infections, and bloodstream infections. S. marcescens colonies on CLED agar typically appear as pink to red in color.
